Release Model
LTS and Feature Releases
The OpenLDAP Project operates on a two-stream release model: a Long Term Support release and one or more active Feature Releases. Symas matches this model.
The LTS release provides a stable, long-term base. Feature Releases add newer features and capabilities. Symas supports the LTS release and the current Feature Release, with limited overlap during transitions.
OpenLDAP 2.7 is expected to be announced as the next Feature Release.
